I said it once and I'll say it a million times, If on paper you can afford to purchase a Home you should do it, if you can't afford the monthly payment or not comfortable with it at the moment put a Renter in it that will pay at least 90% of it, And once interest rates come down and that renter pays down your principle mortgage a bit it will be way more affordable for you, then you can move in, you will have equity and experience by that time.
